On 25th June, 21, Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square had their virtual 18th Installation Ceremony. Outgoing President Rtn .Chandra Krishna Shresthacalled 874nd & 18th Installation Ceremony and he welcomes Chief Guest DG Rajeev Pokhrel, DGE Rtn. Santosh P Rijal PDG Ratna Man Shakya, PDG Tirtha Man Shakya, PDG Dilendra Raj Shrestha, DGEN Designated Jitendra Bahadur Rajbhandari, AG Durga Prasad Subedi, Chartered President Ram Prasad Joshi, PE Niroj B Mathema, Spouse, Rotaractors and guests.
We observed National Anthem of Nepal and incoming President was introduced by PP Rtn. Dr. Krishna Ram Amatya. Chief Guest DG Rajiv Pokhrel duly installed new President by handovering Club Charter’s Certificate, Hammer & Gravel, and President’s pin virtually and also, conducted Rotary Oath.
New President Rtn. Niroj B Mathema introduced his BOD members of RY 2021-22 and conducted oath virtually. After that, IPP Rtn. Chandra Krishna Shrestha remarks his thanks giving speech to all Rotarian who supports and contributed during RY 2020-21.
On same day, New Spouse’s President Ann Dr. Sushika Joshi was also installed and handover Presidentship from Rose Shrestha. Our yearly souvenir “Layeku” was also released virtually by Chief Guest DG Rtn. Rajiv Pokhrel. After that, Chief Guest DG Rtn. Rajiv Pokhrel address with their greatest achievement during RY 2020-21 and appreciated for remarkable projects for Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square.
Observed toast proposal for the peace and prosperity of Nepal and Nepalese as well as for the good health and happiness for RI President and the First Lady and greater success of Rotary International and the Rotary movement.
