On 18th May 2026, the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square successfully organized a one-month food distribution support program for children with Cerebral Palsy at the Cerebral Palsy and Neurological Disorder Welfare Society (CPND Day Care and Rehabilitation Center) in collaboration with the Lions Club of Kathmandu Gurans.
The program was generously supported by PP Rtn. Minu Shrestha and focused on promoting better nutrition, health, and wellbeing for children attending the rehabilitation and day care center.
The food support covered daily lunch and snacks for the children during their stay at the center. The meal plan was designed to provide balanced and nutritious food to help improve the nutritional status and overall health condition of children with Cerebral Palsy. The initiative also aimed to reduce the risks of undernutrition and unhealthy weight gain through proper dietary support and regular nutritious meals.
This meaningful project reflected the club’s continued dedication toward humanitarian service and support for children with special needs. Through collaborative efforts with partner organizations, the program contributed to enhancing the quality of care and wellbeing of the children attending the center.
