On 23rd December 2023, the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square organized a free health Camp at Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Care Center in collaboration with different organizations (Siddhartha Bank, Divyanta, MedExpress Nepal, Sutra Diagnostic Pvt.Ltd., Yetichem and Nepal Reiyukai) for children with Cerebral Palsy, other neurological disorders and the local community to serve a great cause.
The camp aimed to serve the basic medical needs of the children with Cerebral Palsy, and neurological disorders, and the local community. The camp started at 10 am sharp and ended at 3 pm with the help of Rotarians and Cerebral Palsy Clinic and care center staff. Everyone took part in this camp to determine the public welfare.
We had a reputed Pediatrician Rtn. Dr. Pragya Karmacharya Rajbhandari, ENT Surgeon Dr. Rishi Bhatt, Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Prashant Adhikari, General Physician Dr. Ruby Maharjan, Dental Surgeon Dr. Pushpa Jha, Physiotherapist Anuja Karki and Physiotherapist Manoj Shah from Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Care Center for the free health camp who actively participated in serving and treating this great cause wholeheartedly during this camp. Lab Assistants from Sutra Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd. collected blood for various tests as prescribed by consultants with special discounts. There was also free medical distribution by Yetichem and MedExpress Nepal.
Depending upon the chief complaints of the patient, consultation by specialized doctors and physiotherapists was done. The camp was open to all age groups.
Approximately 83 local communities came for the Health Checkup and benefited from this medical camp. Doctors and Physiotherapists advised them on various medicines and consultations during camp.
