On June 25, 2025, the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square celebrated its 23rd Charter Night and Installation Ceremony at Hotel Harmony Bistro, Sanepa. The evening was filled with joy and pride as members looked back on a successful year and welcomed new leadership for the Rotary Year 2025–26. Chief Guest DGE Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karkee and other special guests added grace to the occasion with their kind presence and inspiring messages.

Outgoing President Rtn. Rombus Shrestha gave a heartfelt speech, sharing the club’s achievements and thanking members, families, Rotaractors, and friends of the Cerebral Palsy community. He honored them with a Token of Love for their support. The main highlight of the event was the installation of new President Rtn. Dr. Pragya Karmacharya Rajbhandari, who received the President’s Collar, Charter Certificate, Gavel, and Gong. She shared her plans and introduced the new board of directors. A warm welcome was also given to the newest member, Dr. Basudha Ghimire.

The evening ended with the launch of the club’s annual souvenir “Layeku,” followed by a joyful cake-cutting, dinner, and fellowship. With over 53 attendees, the event was a celebration of unity, service, and hope. Congratulations to Rtn. Rombus for his wonderful year, and best wishes to President Dr. Pragya for a successful and impactful term ahead!
