Project description. What are the objectives and who are the beneficiaries?
The objective is to provide potable water to the people of Paelep by installing about thirty water fountains in the village that was partially destroyed during the earthquake of April 25th 2015. Villagers currently need to walk several kilometers to go get water where available on the mountain. Paelep is very isolated in the Ganesh Himal region 80 KM North West of Kathmandu.
Until this project villagers had to walk 2 to 3 hours of walk to collect water.
