Mega Health Camp

The Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square (RCPDS), in collaboration with Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Care Center, Cerebral Palsy and Neurologic Disorder Welfare Society, Lumanti Pharma, Tilganga Eye Foundation, Nepal Reiyukai, KIST Hospital, Divyanta Dental, and the Rotaract Club of Patan Durbar Square, successfully organized a Mega Health Camp on 17th August 2025 at Satdobato.

The camp was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Manjali Shakya Bajracharya, Deputy Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, whose presence highlighted the importance of collective efforts in strengthening community health services.

Free Health Services Provided

The camp offered a wide range of essential medical services at no cost, benefiting children and community members, particularly those from underserved backgrounds:

  • Eye Care: 65 children and parents received comprehensive eye check-ups.
  • ENT Services: 52 individuals benefited from ear, nose, and throat consultations.
  • Physiotherapy: 25 children with Cerebral Palsy received physiotherapy support.
  • General Medicine: 45 patients were examined and treated by a physician.
  • Pediatrics: 16 children received pediatric consultations.
  • Mental Health Support: 16 children underwent psychological assessment and counseling for anxiety and stress.
  • Laboratory Services: 8 individuals availed various diagnostic laboratory tests.

Impact and Outcome

The Mega Health Camp addressed multiple dimensions of community health under one roof. Special emphasis was placed on children with special needs, early diagnosis, and preventive care. Through strong collaboration among healthcare institutions, partner organizations, and volunteers, the camp was able to deliver timely, quality medical services to those who need them most.

This project reflects the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square’s continued commitment to community service, inclusive healthcare, and social responsibility. By working together with dedicated partners, the club aims to create sustainable impact and improve the overall well-being of the community.
