Projects: Wash Training Program

Project Summary:
WASH training to the students, teachers of Baloday, Shree Chandi and Sanchetana schools and Khokana community was jointly conducted by Rotary District 2470, Japan and RCPDS, Rotary District 3292 on September 25, 2019, which was inaugurated by H. E. Ambassador of Japan Mr. MasamichiSaigo in the present of DG Mr. Kiran Lal Shrestha. The Ward chief of Lalitpur Municipality no 24 has also participated in this training.
More than 300 students, teachers and Khokana community people have participated in this event, which was one of the biggest event of RCPDS. They learn how to wash hand properly and keeping safe and clean toilet. The training was given by Rotarian doctors and other Rotarians. This project is considered to be a very important project for developing a relation between Japanese Nepalese Rotarians and therefore, is covered by many Japanese and Nepalese Newspapers and social media. In hounour to this project Japanese Embassy to Nepal has given a Welcome party to the Japanese and Nepalese Rotarians.
